The Class 5 Betfred The Bonus King Bingo/British Stallion Studs E B F Maiden Stakes is scheduled to take place at Kempton on 7th April, 2012. Ten runners will be competing over 5 furlongs for £3,946.
Nine out of ten runners are maiden’s in this race. Marvelino, son of Captain Marvelous, out of mare Aimee’s Delight is the only one with some experience under his belt.
The two-year-colt entered the Download William Hill From The App Store Brocklesby Conditions Stakes at Doncaster as a favourite with the odds of 11 to 4 on 31st March, 2012.
Mounted by Ryan Clark, he finished in eleventh place out of twelve runners.
Lea Valley Black will get a chance to demonstrate his skills. The two-year-old colt is trained by Tom Dascombe for owners, London Market Racing Club.
The young son of Three Valleys, out of mare Sambarina, is bred by A J Coleing, and he will be the mount for Richard Kingscote in this race.
Baileys Jubilee, daughter of Bahamian Bounty, out of Missisipi Star, will run in her debut race today. The two-year-old filly is trained by Mark Johnston for owners, G.R Bailey Ltd (Baileys Horse Feeds).
She will be paired with Silvestre De Sousa, who has famously led many runners to victories.
The Richard Hannon trained, Lyric Ace, will be exhibiting his skill on the track in this race. Owned by the Byerley Thoroughbred Racing, the two-year-old is the son of Thousand Words, out of mare Aces Dancing.
With Hannon’s reputation, it will be expected that his runner may emerge victorious as he will be coupled with Kieran O'Neill.
Martin Dwyer will be riding Mosstang, son of Moss Vale, out of Lovely Dream. This runner is trained by Robert Mills for the Pinehurst Racing and Mrs. B.B. Mills.
Chilworth Icon will be coupled with jockey Chris Catlin. The two-year-old colt is the son of Sixties Icon, out of Tamara Moon, who is trained by Mick Channon for owners 7Rus.
With this line-up of new exciting runners, it cannot be determined yet as to who will take the race and emerge victorious.
Marvelino is the only runner who has some experience. He may show improvement and down the victory. There is a high probability that the race will be won by one of the newcomers.
