  1. Yes.  As far as the other answer about diversity, if you don't promote diversity, you are telling others that "you don't look the part".  And with this perspective, you are encouraging bias against those with different views, different lifestyles, different ethnicities, etc.  Especially in the U.S., we are not a "melting pot".  We are a pot of stew with various ingredients.  Its commonality is what we need to encourage:  what do we have in common?

  2. Promote rights and responsibilites?  Yes.  Promote diversity?  NO.  Promoting diversity encourages people to focus on the things that make us different.  The word "diversity" is analogous with "divided."  That's the main reason we have so much bigotry and racism.  Diversity fuels bigotry and racism.  It would be much better to promote unity and togetherness -- focus on the ways we are all alike and people from different races, religions, and backgrounds will understand each other better.

  3. I say yes yes and yes.  Diversity is a good thing, as long as the dominant does not condemn those who are different.  In terms of race and ethnicity, there are differences between them.  Knowing those differences and heightening ones cultural consciousness is an important aspect to embracing diversity.  Pointing out the differences and exploiting them negatively is not.

  4. Every one stand together
