Proof of global warming just as goofy as global cooling?

old idea of global cooling.... based on man made products, and in some cases the sun ran rampant during the 1970's... and it was thought of as fact, that the earth was going through massive global cooling, with many predicting an ice age within the century. Sounds very similar to the proof, antidotal evidence, and theories brought forth today by scientist who advocate a theory of global warming, reeking havok on our planet within 50 to 100 years. History really does repeat itself... What do you think, should we really trust scientists as quickly as we do? theories used to take decades to become considered fact, now we believe scientists in just a couple of years.... Protect the planet because you love the planet, not some unproven theory.

Nope.  Global cooling was an idea of a few guys with no data and no backing from any major scientific organization, who got much more attention in the media than they deserved.

They were much like today's so called "skeptics".

But nothing at all like today's global warming scientists with massive amounts of data, and the backing of EVERY major scientific organization.  More here:

Cooling was goofy but warming is not.  In the 1970, the temperatures were dropping in accordance to milokavitch theories(sp)  but it can also be explained due to the particulate matter in the atmosphere and sulfates.  Plus the amount of scientists that believed this was a very small group.   Over 99.9% of climatologists and other scientists/researchers agree

Roy Spencer is a meteorologist, a weatherman......lets leave the climatology to the climatologists

I didnt need to look at your link,only because I remember reading about the new Ice Age coming back in the late 70's.Man made Global warming is a myth,brought on by environmentalists and extreme wacked out entrepenuers.

Another place you can look to find out why man made global warming is a myth is to look up(Dr.) Roy Spencer.He at one time worked for Nasa and explains why their(consensus scientist's) computer models are incorrect.I'm sure I'll get a lot of thumbs down,and you wont be a lot of peoples hero either.
