  1. Geometric proof that we will run out of resources:

The earth is a finite sphere.

Proof that we will never run out of resources:

    Bible, whatever.

    Take your pick.

  2. We can run out of natural resources but not renewable ones.

  3. There can't be proof because that isn't true.  We can and will run out of natural resources.

  4. The world will never run out because it all cycles back to the Earth.

Plastic is made from materials of the Earth and the Earth will dispose of it and turn back into its traditional state someday.

It pretty much is the same for the rest of the human things we make.

  5. no. there is no proof .We are consuming our earths natural resources as we speak. In order for survival we must use them i would not worry bout the earth it has sustained worse episodes.

  6. Its less a matter of us absolutely running out of natural resources, but a matter of being able to obtain sufficient resources in a cost effective manner for all the people who want them.

We see it happening today.  We have 6 billion people who all want stuff.  The price of oil has skyrocketed from $20 barrel to $115.  Copper prices have climbed from $1.50/lb to $4.00/lb.  in the past 3 years.   As certain commodities become too expensive, we'll generally switch to alternatives or do without.

Then it becomes a question of how disruptive the change is.  Recent increases in food prices - somewhat affected by both the increase cost of fuel to transport food and somewhat driven by the increased use of corn to make biofuels - have caused riots in Haiti.

  7. Humans will never run out of resources to justify their retardedness.  Answer above mine.

  8. Oh yea sure!  Plastics will turn back into petroleum, NOT!

  9. we will... duh
