I have a Mariner, 1984, two stroke 60HP outboard motor, ID# A165579, with a 3 blade propeller with # 4873136-A4-13P incribed on it. I need to replace the propeller with either three blade or four blades. Where can I get the best deal? Any suggestion as to how to change the water impellor also? Please advise...

  1. why do you need to replace the prop. If it has been damaged it can normally be remoulded. most props are made of soft alu, repair should cost around 30% of replacement. A local marina will know a company that can undertake the repair or ask your local mariner dealership. The impellor is a simple job first order the spare parts then refer to the surface manual. hope that helps

  2. If your propeller's beyond repair , I recently bought a Hustler prop for my boat. They're much cheaper than similar props and it performs beautifully.
