Proper Punching?

I'm looking for every detail there is about punching. Proper technique, muscles used and how best to develop those muscles. Any bits and pieces of information would be helpful, because I'm too lazy to search it up myself.

Thanks a lot.

  1. b4 u hit sum 1, normally u would clinch ur fist then hit, try and hold it till impact, then clinch. So open ur hand, then push ur other hand with ur fingers, then close. Got that, now swing!!!!

  2. When throwing a punch your elbows are supposed to stay in tight.  For example, if you were to stand perpendicular to a wall with your shoulder pressed to it and throw a jab or a cross, your elbow should not bounce off the wall.  If you keep your elbows in tight when you throw a punch, your wrists will naturally turn at the end of the extension causing all of your knuckles to point towards the floor.  After this, make sure to bring your fist quickly back to guard position so you don't get popped in the face.  And remember most of the power in your punches will come from your core and hips, so don't burn yourself out by using all the power your arms can muster up.
