I need to mail some tiger lily bulbs from MO to TX. How should I package them so I don't damage or kill them? They are dormant right now. Thanks!

  1. Use a small, sturdy cardboard box. Add and inch or so of dried peat moss or cellulose, and add the bulbs one by one, spaced out in layers, covering each with additional peat or cellulose. Fill the box completely and that will hold the bulbs securely.

Do not use a plastic bag as this may cause the bulbs to compost!
