Proper stance with hybrid.?

just picked up a 21* and a 24* degree hybrid. at address, should i be in a closed stance, or square?

  1. You should be square at address, just like hitting an iron. In terms of ball placement, it should be in the middle (like irons) when hitting off the deck, but some people find it beneficial to move it forward slightly (2 or 3 inches) when teeing off with a hybrid.


  2. The purpose of hybrids is to replace your long irons. Usually, hybrids have a higher launch angle than long irons. That is why some people choose hybrids over long irons. As for the stance, you should stand no different than you would stand from your 3 or 4 iron, feet and shoulders square to the target.

  4. it should be placed alittle in front of halfway in your stance.
