Proper title for a 'butler'/'serving hand'/'maid'/whatever?

I'm writing a story involving a man who has a few 'butlers' and 'maids', but it takes place in present time, and those terms seem really outdated, and 'serving hand' sounds demeaning.

The Butler is called with his surname by his master or mistress.. ''Jeeves, my whiskey please, and my cigar''   Jeeves " Yes Sir, here you are,''

the maids the parlour maid is usually chosen for her good looks and the ladies made they are called by their first name..  ''Sarah, Lily, Emma, Ivy...The cook is female.  and she is called MRS. Creswell or whatever her name.. or Miss Cresswell if she is not married.. but she gets called Mrs or Miss and her surname by the family of the house.. the valet the masters valet is called by his surname unless they have been together for a long time the master may call him by his first name.. the governess that depends on her age.. if she is young they might call her "Jemima'' or they call her Miss Crowsfeet if she is a governess she is a spinster lady if she is old or she is young and pretty then she will only be doing that until she gets married... ''Jemima '' will then move out...

the scullery maid. and the kitchen helpers nobody sees them the cook addresses them. and calls them by their first name and the butler does the same.. the cook calls the Butler Mr.Jeevesand the Butler calls.the cook Mrs Cresswell. The bootboy is Tom...  the girls who dust the room are also called by their first name and the ''footmen'' are chosen for their handsome looks and nice legs and for their handsome features and they are called James and Arthur...'' by the family and everyone else... the lady's personal maid is the lady's confidante.. but she may still call her.. Davis....unless she is young.and the lady of the house is young as well then she most likely will call her Pandora...and the other people who serve at the table are just given names by the butler he oversees that all goes well at the table and to them they are Joe, Anthony, Lancelot and Percival.

Another term for butler could be manservant, house boy, footman.

Another term for maid could be domestic helper, housekeeper.
