Proper way to handle leopard geckos?

He doesnt like it when i hold him so i was wondering what i was doing wrong. He tries to squirm away and one time jumped from my hands. If anyone can tell me the proper way to handle leopard geckos please answer =)

  1. They don't like to be "held" per se.  I let mine crawl on my bed or the floor and on my arms.  You don't want to restrain them... just let them crawl around.
