  1. Make a big deal of stopping by his desk.   "Ooh!   Teach me how to play that!   Let me go log off my computer and fetch my chair!"   Bring some popcorn.  (If your big deal doesn't get a supervisor's attention, then the smell of the popcorn will.)

  2. I agree you should make a big deal. Start yelling really load about him playing baseball. Act real interested.

You could also get really pissed. You could start yelling at him about it. Go to your supers and start ranting.

  3. aren't there things on your computers that let people know what is on them?

  4. Just tell the supervisor that you know another worker is not doing their job and is also breaking company policy by playing games on his computer. Then ask the supervisor if they are aware of it and if they would like to know who it is. But for the most part, just do your job well and don't worry about what co-workers are doing. A good job performance should be recognized by your supervisor.

  5. Instead of trying to make him look bad, get yourself noticed by your supervisor.  Show your supervisor you are ready for a raise and could handle the new position.

Meet with your supervisor to discuss how you have been doing in your job and how you would be great for the other position.  "I think I would be perfect for  _______ job, because I could make the position even better by doing X, Y, Z."   Even if there is no opening for a new position, you could say you are ready to take on new responsibilities.  Or just discuss your goals to move up.

That way, you might be able to improve your position and career without sounding like you're trying to bring someone else down.
