  1. never used a glass bottle ,didnt no you could still get them , i breast feed myself but when i need to heat expressed milk i use a metal cup ,fill with hot water metal keeps the heat of the water and warms the milk other wise get a bottle warmer an electric one

  2. 10 mnts i use to fill up the sink with hot water and leave the bottle in there till it was warm, but i can tell you now, its really draining doing it that way, so i just put it in the microwave for the rest of the time, was alot easier!

    Never used a glass bottle!

  3. They say never to heat milk in the microwave, so what I do is, I heat the water only in the microwave for about 9 seconds then add the powder milk to it. I also run it under hot water tap too

  4. I read an article in Baby Talk magazine that you don't have to heat the bottle--it does not offer any benefit for the baby and the baby will drinnk it cold.

I heated up the bottles with my twins who are now 3 and now I have a new baby (4 months)and don't heat the bottles--it is SO much easier and the baby drinks the bottle fine (and is healthy, gaining weight, etc).

    Good Luck!

  5. I personally did not heat my daughters bottles.  All we did was place a gallon of water on the counter and used that.  That worked for us.

We did use glass and plastic, personally, when they are small its fine but once they learn how to throw their bottles, I wouldn't use them.

    Good Luck.

  6. hio there, you should NEVER heat your bottles in the microwave, it kills the nutrients and does not heat the milk evenly and may cause scholding.

What i do is i pour boiled water and pre boiled cold water till the temperature is right and then make the bottle. It is the quickest and easiest way.

  7. hold botle under hot water..heat cup of water in microwave and let bottle sit in it for a while..or a steamer

  8. Either let it run under hot water, or put in in a pan of hot water, make sure you test it on your wrist you only want the formula to be luke warm

  9. Never heard of a glass bottle.

As for heating, just stand it in a jug or hot water until it is slightly warm. To iknow if it is warm enough shake a drop out into your wrist. If you can not feel it, it is the right temperature. But personally, I don't warm my babys milk, i give it at room temperature.

  10. i using plastic bottle (avent). usually i'll put hot water in a metal mug and put the milk bottle in for few minutes/until it's warm.

check before giving it to your baby. sometimes it gets real hot.
