Ok, so I bought this amp and sub :

I have it all installed. But i can'not adjust the controls on the back of the amplifier.

There is 4 diffrent controls

1)ISF(infrasonic filter) switch [off/15Hz/25Hz]

2)Bass Boost Level control [0-18 dB]

3)LPF (Low-Pass Filter) Friquency control [50-200 Hz]

4)Input Sensitivity Control [min5-0.2 Max]

Could you help me with, how I should properly adjust the controls please?

If the amplifier is only 500 RMS total power, and the sub is 600 RMS total power, can i turn all the settings the whole way?

  1. first thing - make sure the switch on the amp is switched to low pass.

    then all settings will work.

don't turn the gain settings to the max or your sub won't survive even a minute(distorted signal ), the amp will regularly go to protection mode and the amp will also fry.

turn the head unit volume all way up and then raise the gains of amp to a level where there is no distotion, if you run the sub on distorted power be ready to buy a new sub.
