I am planning on taking the exam a couple of months from now. What helped all of you pass the exam? I know there are books, online programs, flashcards, and sample tests. But my question is, which one's are the best to study from? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Extra info--> I am 22, I live in Los Angeles, and I work for an insurance agency in Westwood California.

  1. I don't know about CA but in MOST states you must attend 40 hrs of classroom time.  Thats the ONLY thing I did and passed the first time.  Since you already work in the industry you are probably familiar with a lot of it already.  Good Luck!

  2. Use a combination of the book, and the practice exams.  If you can pass the practice exam at 90%, no cheating, you'll pass the licensing test.

When you get an answer wrong, look up ALL the options, so you know not only why the right answer is right, but why the wrong answer is wrong.

Read the questions CAREFULLY.  Sometimes, you have to eliminate the most wrong answers in order to get the most right answer.  Frequently, several answers are sort of right, and you just have to pick the MOST right one.

Get a good night sleep for TWO nights, before the exam.
