Property division in Canadian divorce.?

Question

I need to know how property is divided in a Canadian divorce. Is it divided by who has earned what? As in if i were to have a few millions of dollars from my family and I divorced someone who has hundreds of dollars would they get half of my money or just what they've earned?

Depends on which province you reside in. Each one has separate rules and regs re property division. Though it may not apply to you typically all property acquired during the marriage is "marital property" to be divided equally and all property acquired prior to marriage goes to the original owner.
