  1. distributive in fractions  if you have (a+b)/c = a/c + b/c

    (2+3)/4 = 2/4 + 3/4

    commutative in multiplication a*b=c     b*a=c     a*b=b*a

    2*3=6=3*2

    asociative (a*b)*c=d    a*(b*c)=c   (a*b)*c=a*(b*c)

    (2*3)*4=24=2*(3*4)

  2. I've never heard of the first one, but here are definitions and examples of the other two:

    Comm. prop. of mult.:

    a*b=b*a

    5*2=10=2*5

    Assoc. prop. of mult.:

    (a*b)*c=a*(b*c)

    (5*2)*3=30=5*(2*3)
