Property tax question

Question

why would someone have two different addresses on the online auditors.the tax mailing address is right but the owner address is wrong.

it is my sisters house and it is paid for so a bank is not involved so why would someone put the wrong adress for the owner??

To even venture a guess one would need to know where these two addresses are recorded and for what purpose..

the same thing happened to my mother. her tax bill would get sent to some other address. it just so happened that the realestate agent put the wrong address on the forms.  she corrected it when my mom was wondering when her prop tax bill would arrive.
