Does anyone know a policy that is currently being proposed that will help or solve airline problems regarding health hazards from the shoe scanning and privacy issues from the scanning process?

Any input would be very helpful. Please provide some links too! =]

  1. What makes you think they care as long as you blindly stumble onto the airplane like cattle?

  2. What health hazards?  What privacy issues?  No one's going to contract a disease by walking 10 feet in their socks.

  3. These are not airline issues, they are Homeland Security/TSA issues.

  4. What health hazards?  And privacy issues from scanning?

The only new policy I have heard is a new CrewPASS system which allows flight crew (pilots only) to bypass security.  Also the TSA is starting more invasive screening on passengers it is an x-ray machine that can see through clothes... http://studenttravel.about.com/od/planes...

  5. nver heard of any such proposals from any airline.
