Pros + Cons of Solar Lighting + Heating?

What are the Pro's and COn's of Solar Lighting and heating and what else (in a building) can be solarized? What are their Pro's and Con's

I  couldn't live without solar lighting and heating. I wonder how short my life would be without it. Thank god the sun comes up every mourning to warm my bones and give me light to get on with my day.

Pros and cons for solar power is the same as any other converting. Going to solar can be expensive and difficult. If you build solar into a building the cost will be absorbed with the building costs.
