Pros and Cons of the Air Force? ?

I am struggling with this as well since i want to join the Air Force reserves and possibly do a green to gold type program later on after I finish school. I grew up around the Army since my dad was in and my ex husband as well was in the Navy, so here is what I have  come up with:

Pros:

Housing

Pay

Bonus when you enlist..trust me its a nice one =)

Rank

Travel

Job experience

Benefits - They are really good

After serving with a honorable discharge or retirement, you can get a job pretty much anywhere

Hands on learning

Meeting new people

Air Force is the cleanest when it comes to housing, hospitals, and barracks

Air Force takes care of their soldiers more than the Army or Navy

Cons:

You will be away from your hometown and family

Must take orders

Depending on your job, it could be dangerous

It just all depends on how strong of a person you are and if you are willing to go overseas if needed for certain periods of time

well all the pros you know  but cons i dont think the Air Force has any unless the coffee pot is empty and the AC dont work ;-)

Just a minor correction, the Air Force is not currently giving Enlistment bonuses to those who go a none officer enlistment.

When speaking with the Army Recruiters however, they made it clear to me they were in fact offering enlistment bonuses.

I am not sure about other branches however.
