Pros and cons about living in the U.K.?

I currently don't like how things are going in America right now... And I know if I voice any more than that, I might attract some people that will waste my time.

So, I am generally ignorant how things are in the U.K. and I'd love for you to tell me some significant reasons why it's great to live there because I'm really considering moving there but I don't have the money to visit right now.

-The general people? (ex. where I live, people are open minded and moderately friendly but mostly in my city)

-Atmosphere? (Ex. where I live, it's crazy but exciting and fun a lot of the time. But the crime rate is high, a lot of school shootings, our state has the highest teen pregnancy rate, and just a lot of bad things.)

-Environment? (Ex. lots of land, very beautiful. Don't know how to rate litter/pollution here... but our city/state is extremely expensive in EVERY way.)

-Economy? (Ex. obviously, the dollar is starting to be worth c**p and our economy isn't really progressing like it should)
