  1. Okay...

    Obama

    Pros:

Wants to get the individual involved in changing the direction of the country

I agree with him on most issues, and on EVERY one of my most important issues   **He wants to repeal the tax cuts on the wealthiest Americans and end corporate welfare (which acounts for MUCH more spending than welfare for individuals) and end tax cuts for those who outsource jobs, etc  ** He doesn't believe in pre-emptive war, actually would try diplomacy

I love how he came from a middle class family

    Cons:

He talks big, and I know that he cannot follow through with everything he promises, even if he really wants to.

I'm not really big on his immigration stance.

    McCain:

Pros:  I like that he's prior service.  I like the McCain of 2000.

    Cons:

I hate that he uses his prior service as a reason to be elected president.

He has a bad record with Veterans groups.  He tends to vote against veterans issues.

VERY wealthy, doesn't know how many houses he owns (or rather, his wife owns),  Seems very out of touch with middle class America.

Cannot rule out another pre-emptive war, like Iran, N. Korea, Pakistan, etc.

Doesn't believe that insurance companies that cover Viagra should cover birth control.

Doesn't believe in s*x education, or rather, believes in abstinence ONLY s*x education.  I believe the best way to prevent unwanted pregnancies is by education on contraceptive use and STD's.  Abstinence only education does not work, as proven by Palin's daughter.

I hate how he married his first wife (who was a swimsuit model), and after she was mangled in a car accident, cheated on her multiple times and eventually divorced her and married Cindy.

He gets angry very easily and blows up at people.  Kind of worries me if he got mad in important peace talks...

Has done a complete 180 from who he was in 2000.  He used to be the 46th most conservative senator.  He is now the 2nd.  That's a big change.  He's pandering to the religous right to get nominated and elected.

    There's more but I'm tired.

I'm sure you can tell that I am not all that impressed with McCain.

  2. Fiscal irresponsibility for BOTH of them.

One wants to play Robin Hood, the other wants to rob the hood and keep us in Iraq indefinately.

  3. Obama Pro - change, some what of a political outsider though been inside the last 4 years,

Obama Negative - promises too much, if he tried to deliver it'd probably cause a depression with how much it would all cost.  He also flip flops a lot and has very limited experience - which is why he added Biden to his ticket.

McCain Pro - Maverick, has proven he can work with the other side and has gotten a lot of laws passed with the other party.

McCain Neg - 25 year insider, which is why he picked Palin who is a "complete" outsider to Washington DC politics.
