Pros and cons of a daycare???

Question

Okay so my sister and I decided we want to start a daycare also we would be starting it with another friend and the daycare will be at her house....me and my sister also live like 5 min from her so it would be great on gas....What are some more pros and cons on running a daycare??

Also if you want mor info I am TTC and my husband wants me to bring in money after I get pregnant.

The job I work for now which I am trying to quit is a hazardous place chemicals and what not and I drive an hour to get to work and hour and half to get home.....

You might contact your state and find out what the requirements are for running an in home day care and what kind of certification you need. The worst con could be getting everything you need approved by the state.

best pro-good money

worst con-requires loads of patiance and lots of multi-tasking.

pros, its your business you run it, you the boss.  you won't need a sitter for your own baby.

cons:  vacation time not paid.  you are responsible for each and every child you watch (so if they get a cut or fall, u r responsible.  no sick time.  parenting conflicts, each parent will have their style and want you to live up to it.

edit:  in my opinion, i would rather work with kids then adults  any day
