Pros and cons of being an adolescent?

Pros: you don't have a job, have to keep your own house, and you're just learning to manage money. You can have a lot of great first experiences . School isn't nearly as hard as it will be in college. You are allowed to be happy and do as you please.

Cons: there is a lot of pressure in school to do well from parents. You are still under their control. etc

um this is just my opinion the pros are even about with the cons depending how your life is.

pros-get to experience things

first job,kiss,gf/bf,

scholarships,camps, seeing new things

cons-can mess your future up if you do dumb things plain and simple

PROS- its usually the best time in life. you go through many great experiences, meet new people.

CONS- acne. body changes. more emotional. trying to make new friends. trying to fit in can be hard for people also.

You do not have to work and you have free time

You go to school everyday so you can meet a lot of friends

You are carefree

You have a new perspective on life and are more open minded

You have the ability to choose what you want to do when you get older

You celebrate your birthday

You see your parents everyday

You are expected to make mistakes

Cons

Since you do not work, you do not have money to spend during your free time

A lot of peer pressure

You need your parents to approve pretty much everything you do

Sometimes it's difficult to predict the consequences of your actions

You do not have past experience to base you decisions on

You see your parents everyday (lol)

You have to study

Pros:

You don't have as many responsibilities as adults.

You are still in school and not having to worry about how you will make ends meet.

You can sit around a listen to music or watch tv for a few hours, most days anyway.

You still have the rest of your life ahead of you.

You aren't under the command of a boss.

You get to go experience your first kiss, make out sessions, "love", and sexual encounter (if you let it/want it to get that far).

Cons:

You can't do as much as adults can.

People don't take you seriously.

Your parents are the ones who get to choose if you have cable/dish/whatever for you to watch.

You still have a decent amount of time to wait to do whatever you want.

Your parents are still usually not too far behind harping on you (whether it's about s*x, your grades, your social life, or whatever)

Elders and your parents will just think "been there, done that", whether your relationship is real or not.

Etcetera and so on.
