  1. Pro's: People look at you like you're special (...bad way)

Con's: You can't play around with your belly button.

  2. well get it done dont let a non professional do it cuz it hurts SO bad..i know from experience and its okay if they say no cuz they have a reson behind it and if you really want it done compromise with them

  3. Do not get a belly piercing. Your only 12...people will get the wrong impression of you and will think you're trashy/S****y.

  4. Here are what I've heard from people who had it done:

    Pro:

You can wear a nice little piece of jewelry to cover an unattractive area of your body

It makes you stand out a bit from other people

It creates an interesting conversation piece

You have a variety of styles and colors of jewelry you can wear

    Con:

    It hurts to pierce it

    You can get an infection

You have to keep wearing something otherwise the hole will close up

Many people think it looks trashy

It can stretch in unattractive ways if you gain a lot of weight

The stud catches on your shirts and other clothes

Once you've decided you no longer want the piercing, it leaves an unattractive scar

  5. For one, you may not be able to get pierced right now even with parental consent. Most state laws state you have to be 16 to be pierced with parental consent. Other laws state you have to be 18. I'm not telling you you're too young, though I think otherwise, but I am telling you that law may not allow you to be pierced until you're older.

However, if you were to be pierced right now at the age of 12, here are some pros and cons.

    Pros-

    - It might look good for a while.

    - It states your individuality.

    - It's not a really painful piercing.

    - It's relatively easy to take care of if you know how.

    Cons-

-Your body is still changing at this age. You might be at a higher risk for rejection or migration than someone over the age of 18.

    - At any age, the risk of migration and rejection is common. A lot of this depends on the anatomy of the person. However, like I stated, if you are still going through puberty, the risk is even higher.

    - There is always a risk of infection, which can ultimately be dangerous if not take care of.

    - It's a big responsibility to take care of a piercing properly.

Adding my opinion, I think you should wait. Why? Because at 18, your body is pretty much done changing at least for a while. At 18, you don't have to rely on parental consent.

  6. im 15 and ive got my belly pierced but i got it for my 15th birthday so i would wait till your a little older cause people could get the impression your easy

  7. My friend got her belly button piereced and it became infected and it grew out so now its something that looks like a wart. I told her not to get one but she didnt listen and now her the top of her belly button looks gross and they tend to make a woman seem S****y

You're only 12 you better wait a while

  8. I have one and i LOVE it

and im 13 my mom told me that i shoyuld get one and it look so good but if you do get it then make sure you take care of it.But try tellin your parents that your shirt covers it up and its not like its perminant you can take it out.

    :)

  9. pros for a 12 year old: none what so ever

cons: at your age the piercing will reject and migrate because your body is still growing

why would you be getting a belly button piercing? your only 12 your still a freakin baby! who the h**l are you showing your stomach to?
