Pros and cons of blackberry pearl?

im considering getting one, im in high school, text ALOT, and could use the organization and email stuff on the phone as well.

please tell your experiences, and pros/cons of the pearl, thanks!

Pros Wi-Fi, video recording, spell check, 2 megapixel camera, good multimedia features &  external microSD slot

Cons Texting is hard to get used to, No touchscreen, battery life could be better & lack of 3G
