Pros and cons of using yellow as bmS dresses

Question

I am still contemplating using YELLOW as bm's colour for dresses. The bms are both dark as well as fair skinned.

would this make a difference to the photographs

How about you let them choose different variations of yellow but still in the same region on the colour wheel? That way it's look great on all of their skin tones.

Since you are the bride, you need to pick what you like & what looks good on YOU.  When you are photographed in white, it can drown your own skin tone out.  Picking a bridesmaid colored dress that looks good on YOU will help, along with some make-up.  Congrats & Enjoy your special day!!

Yellow is good. Choose whatever color you want.

It's all in choosing the right shade, and yellow looks amazing in photos - espcially with a nice accent colour/s for flowers - like if you use a blue as an accent, or bright pink... or even peach.

A bright yellow is nice, or a buttercup.

I actually used a very pale yellow as my BM's dresses, and for the theme. I think pale yellow complimented their skin tone. I had 3 with very different skin tones.

It depends on their skin tone.  I personally can't wear yellow, as it makes me look sick.

Just be careful with what color yellow you choose if you are concerned about how it will look on everyone.  I have light skin (blond hair, blue eyes)  and many yellows look ridiculous on me.  I would take my bridemaids with me to help me choose what yellow we pick so that I would know a good color for all of them.
