  1. So will there be a course for this in school?

What will they say? " I want to be a prostitute when i get older?  What a future.....................................

  2. We are doing a large study on Prostitution in America in my sociology class.

My views on it are ever changing.

I assume most people think of prostitutes as either "Street Walkers" or the high end Ashley Dupre types.

But the majority of them fall in the middle category, you know escorts, strippers that offer "Extras" and that ever growing "craigslist" hookers.

I know a lot of prostitutes my age. They're all craigslist "escorts" that sell themselves by the hour for $150 - $300 dollars. Most of them come from averagly decent families... and are just caught up in the "game." "Making paper...." It's sick.

I only truly feel sorry for those woman who were victims of a s*x crime & feel that their s*x has no emotional value only monetary. =/

  3. I am not for or against what people choose to do in private, together as consenting adults.

Far as the gov is concerned, they agree it is going to occur, so tax it and mitigate it until it becomes another fast food restaurant.

Since some people choose to do one part of that service and it has a paying client base, should be as legal as tobacco is.

Either way it is sliced the pie is still good. Courtrooms, Lawyers, Legal Fees, Probations or jail is $ for the gov.

Why have people in the 'system' for doing what every other human wishes that they were doing.

Just tax it at the gate, hose the bodies off and move on.

  4. Some time business, some time weakness and overall economic

  5. lets be frank, lets think of poor countries, they can practically only get money by bringing in tourists, so make it easy for them to get prostitutes, then they will come to your country. brings in money

  6. It's a moral issue.

You need people who 'able' to take that job, and you need people who are 'able' to patronize.

Both required total ignorant of moral.

(i am only refering to those who choose to do it).

  7. if it were legal it wouldnt be so dangerous......the prostitutes would be constantly tested for stds......they wouldnt get killed in back alleys.....also this is a taxable income!

this is NOT a weakness....its a biological need and lets face it....how is it any different than going to a bar and buying rounds of drinks for a girl? probably costs less!

  8. It is a way for the government to bring money in. People give s*x a way for free & are not in trouble but prostitution is illegal cause people don't pay taxes for it.

  9. All. All weak want to give and take economically

  10. society is till too repressed to openly accept it for what it is.

maybe in a few 100 years.

  11. Though there is several reasons poverty is the main reason for prostitution. I have seen certain s*x sample videos in internet.  I got only sympathy when I saw certain prostitutes.  It's really a tragic matter.  Any government should not be severe with them.
