  1. Interestingly, 96 Euston Road, London is the address of the British Library - really. I don't think the British Library are into the recruitment game.

There is however a recruitment company called Protech Technical ( http://www.protectechnical.co.uk ) who are based at Fareham in Hampshire. They seem to do a lot of work in the aerospace game.

They also seem to have an oil and gas connection (see http://www.oilcareers.com/content/jobsea... ) where they appear more involved in the petrochemical and refining game.  If that is your sphere of interest, then it could be that they are just fine and absolutely legit.

I have greater knowledge of the upstream oil industry (exploration and production) which is why I wouldn't have heard of them.

Leave more comments if you have any more questions. I would check that address though.

    Update:

Having read your comments, even the postcode matches that of the British Museum. I'd have a look at the website I detailed above and then call your contact and see how things fit. If you have any suspicions, ask the questions. Better to do it now than after you've been working for a month and find there's no pay cheque at the end.

    Good Luck
