Protection blessing spell needed?

Does anyone know of a spell for protection/ blessing . I buy items at auctions and I want to be sure that i put a spell on items before i resell them or give them away. i need very specific information though....

I am Wicca. I believe you only need to burn your sage around the new objects and in your home to feel very safe. This will remove the negativity.

You don't really believe in spells do you?  I assume you say them to give yourself comfort and peace of mind.  If that's the case, then just stand over the piece, touch it and say what you wish.

I ask you (insert your Higher Power here) to bless this (item) and let it be used to your glory and benifit all who would come in contact with it.  I ask that any evil thing or person attached to it to be removed and sent away to return no more.

It is simple but in most cases effective.  I would like to know how many items have you bought that turned out to be a problem.

A human does not have the ability to bless or spiritually protect something. Only God can. It doesn't matter what ritual you do or phrase you speak if you are not filled with the holy spirit, it wont work.

To be filled with the holy spirit you have to ask for fogiveness, ask to be filled with the holy spirit, and most important, turn away from sin. If you do this, you will be backed by the holy spirit and will be able to bless things.

Sin in Gods eyes can be measured by the 10 commandments. Watch for lies (little white lies), hatred, lust, desirering others belongings, creating our own God (this one occurs whenever someone says something like "My God is merciful and would never send someone to h**l")

Anyway, if you want access to such power, you have to talk the talk and walk the walk, thats all there is to it.

Spell cants and blessing don't work that way. First protection from what? Then the spell, cant, or blessing can be selected.
