Protective services is coming to inspect my house what can i expect?

to sum it up my dad has temp gaurdian ship of my kids and deparetment of human services is coming to inspect my house because ill have the kids back in a couple weeks i just wanna know what to expect like what will they look at and what will they frown on....i know my house is ok for the kids but id rather go the extra mile and make it great so theres no doubt they give me a good review at the hearing...

by the way my kids boy 4 and girl 2 share a room is that ok??

Sharing a room is OK at that age in Pa anyway.They check for cleanliness,food,safety things like is the poisons up ,and the medicine up out of reach.If there's a house,water,heat,stove,fridge,electric,t... like that.What they like to see is games ,books,picture of the kids,and things they made.good luck.


  2. the room being shared is fine as long as there is two beds.

    put child locks on all the cabnets, make sure you have pictures up and things like that, put those plastic plug things in all electric sockets, make sure their room is full of educational toys/books etc. organize your house a bit. things like that
