Protein food?

What food has high protein? e.g i dont mean just nuts..I mean what type of nut etc..What type of cheese :). Also is there any cereal that has high protein?

  1. combinations like rice and lentils, beans on toast ie a grain and a pulse, provide complete proteins for vegans. remember b12 too., available in spreads for toast or sandwiches


  2. lentils-you can put them on anything because they are virtually tasteless. any type of beans (my favs are refried and garbanzos). and peanutbutter. both types tend to have about the same amount of protein.

  3. Seitan, tofu, veggie burgers, veggie dogs, tempeh, edamame, soymilk, beans, peas, lentils, chickpeas, ALL nuts, nut butters, seeds, oatmeal, brown rice, broccoli, potatoes, kale....

  5. Lentils are packed with proteins, especially red lentils.  All cheeses have protein, but hard cheeses the most.  Cottage cheese is loaded.  Eggs, yogurt, tofu, soy milk, nearly all beans, split peas, peanut butter, flax seeds.

    You can get high protein cerials, i think that muesli would likely be quite high, because of the amount of nuts and oats. Ive looked on the back of many muesli packets and the protein level is qute high.

    Mainly all cheese has quite a good amount of protein in, hard cheese espically.
