Activision has confirmed a whole range of content that will be made available to gamers who book their copy of the game well in advance.
Many who do not have much knowledge about the world of gaming will only know of a few titles such as the FIFA or Call of Duty series and others of the World of Warcraft. Yet, for those members of the human population whose knowledge about video games is
not so limited, there are a number of other titles that catch can hold everyone’s interest.
Titles such as InFamous, LittleBigPlanet, Dead Space and other like them offer up a variety of different experiences. One such title that allows players to create carnage among chaos is Prototype and the sequel is scheduled for release in the not too distant
future.
In fact, Activision has already announced a number of pre-order incentives to get fans interested in booking their copies of the game.
The pre-order incentives are split into two parts, the first of which does not take into account where the consumer books his or her copy, while the second is retailer specific.
Starting off with the latter, if a person reserves his copy from Best Buy, then they get a unique steel book case that will be not be available otherwise as well as the ‘Hardened Steel Vehicle Armour” upgrade.
However, if one is more inclined towards a bit of fiction based on the series than they could get their hands on the ‘The Anchor’, which is a comic book that adds a bit of background and fills the spaces between the first and the second game, highlighting
how Alex Mercer became the monster he is in the second instalment of the series.
For that though, gamers will need to book their copies of the game through Amazon.com.
At the same time there is content aplenty for gamers who pre-order the game regardless of from they do so. All gamers who book their copy in advance will get 55 pieces of additional content ranging from Avatar items, mutations and challenges to behind the
scenes videos.
Those 55 pieces will be released over a period of seven weeks following the game’s release.
