Prove that:

(sec^2 B – 1)(cot^2 B 1) = sec^2 B

(sinA)/(1-sinA) (sinA)/(1 sinA) = 2tanA secA

  1. For the first one:  there's a Pythagorean Identity involved in sec^2 B - 1.  There's also one for cot^2 B + 1.  Use them.  Rewrite the result in terms of sines and cosines and the answer will be right there.

    For the other one - multiply the fractions and, again, look for Pythagorean Identities.
