  1. On paper:

    ~Stamps

    ~Tracing Letters

~Gluing pre-cut letters onto paper (finding the letters in magazines can provide another great lesson)

~Glue small items (beads, buttons) onto paper in the shape of their name

    Other:

    ~Shaving cream

    ~Tray of sand

    ~Stick in snow or mud

    ~Sidewalk chalk

~Riding a bike (have them form one letter at a time)

Create opportunities for children to interact with a variety of materials and a variety of prints to increase their literacy awareness and fun with print.

  2. try shaving cream, special markers, paper with the lines

  3. Use a big chart tablet and let them sign in every day for a week.

Also, write center names on the chart tablet, and have them sign up for their choice of centers.

These activities make name writing purposeful. And signing in  each morning helps parents see which children need more reinforcement at home, without you ever having to say a word!

  4. Dear friends:

I recommend this site to you, you will never find such a low price, in other places ...

(Which is one of China's largest distributors of electrical products, such as: digital cameras, mobile phones, LCD TV, laptop or notebook computer, digital video, satellite global positioning system, MP4,……, etc.).

They are a good company, we have already established a good relationship, so I would recommend to you.

  5. The children in my class really enjoyed writing their name in a shallow tray of sand.

  6. I have laminated each child's name, letters done with tracing letter stamps, and every morning the children come in and trace their name with a dry erase marker....it helps with fine motor development and letter recognition.

  7. rainbow write - write each letter in a different color

sand trays (I use colored sand from walmart)

    shaving cream

    rice

    finger paints

I always put a variety of writing utensils in my writing center (fat markers, skinny markers, pencils, crayons, ink pens, etc.)

    alphabet stamps

    pens in aluminum foil

  8. Besides writing in shaving cream, rice trays- I've had them write their name with playdough. Do rainbow writing- where they trace around their name in every color of the rainbow- also always have them sign their own art- even if you can't read it.
