Provisonal driving license question?

can you get a doctor (even one you don't see that often) to sign the photo that i'm sending off with my provisonal driving license application?

  1. The previous answer is good, but for a driving license, you can essentially get a signature from anyone you've known for two years, as long as they're not related to you. Just ask a neighbour, friend or work or school colleague.

  3. Only if its one thats known you for a long time, cant remember how many years, think its 4. Its just to say that its a ture photo of you thats all.

  4. Yes you can, but as someone else said, a doctor will probably ask you to pay!

    There are lots of different types of people who can sign though and most people know someone suitable - if you're a young person who's at or recently been at school or college how about one of the teachers who has known you for the required 2 years?

    How about someone who owns a local shop or business that you visit regularly or worked for - they're suitable too.

    Others include ministers of religion, bank or building society officers, librarians, police officers, civil servants or any professionally qualified person such as a solicitor etc.

    The person concerned must not be related to you, must live in the UK and must have known you for at least 2 years.
