Prozac vs. Wellbutrin?

Has anyone been prescribed Prozac but didn't have much success with it so they switched to Wellbutrin. Why did you stop taking the prozac and how did wellbutrin make you feel in comparison to prozac.

please take prozac. welbutrin put me in the hospital. trust me prozac works. give it about 3 weeks and up the dose.

Everyone is different when it comes to anti-depressants. Prozac may not have worked for you, but may work for someone else. It's hard to go by people's opinions or experiences, because they are unique and their bodies won't react to drugs the same way yours will. If you feel Wellbutrin may help you, then (with doctor's agreeableness) definitely try it....but you may have to switch to different ones before you find something that will work.

It's best to consult with a doctor and carefully monitor your progress.

It sort of upsets me when someone says "Don't take ______!!!" because that drug may potentially really help you.

Know yourself well, and consult with doctors.     :)
