Mild weight gain is a frequent side effect of SSRI antidepressants. It is usually managable by reducing calories consumed daily, and other standard means of managing weight. For whatever reason, there are some people who get this side effect particularly bad and may benefit from switching to drugs like Effexor, Wellbutrin and Cymbalta, which either do not cause weight gain or have a much lower likelihood of it.

All of the SSRI family(Prozac, Zoloft, Celexa, Lexapro, Luvox, Paxil) are about equal in their likelihood of causing weight gain. Your milage may vary significantly, some people who gain weight on one drug may not on another related drug.
