  1. I agree with the first answer ~ particularly the 'sexualisation of children' and being called a pervert for noticing it.  But there are other areas to complex to write about here ~ but it has to to do with the naivety of Americans in many respects, the childishness of their TV, a level of 'brashness' which seems to 'SCREAM' out all the time; the NEED, the sheer ''NEED'' to be ''A WINNER'' ~ and a mix of the usage and the ambiguity in language where one word can on the one hand have so many different meaning and also leave the speakers words open to a range of interpretations.

The American will use the word 'Sh*t' at the drop of a reason ~ and as a noun or an adjective, while you will rarely hear the word or see the word 'Toilet' written.

Therefore, there is no 'Toilet Paper' in America, but an awful lot of 'Bathroom Tissue' ~ because there are no toilets but many bathrooms ....and not all of them contain ....a toilet.

It can be very, very confusing over there ~ and potentially frustrating and potently DANGEROUS ~ bowel wise.

    Sash.

  2. There are many contradictions and double standards about s*x in North America, mainly the US.

Example: The US sexualizes teenagers all the time but then calls anyone a pedophile for noticing it.

Example: US p**n sexualizes women all the time but then calls women whores for liking s*x.

People are stupid, that's why so many still think like this.
