Pruning an indoor rose plant?

ive got an indoor rose pot plant and the flowers are currently dying off (the rest of the plant is still thriving) and i am planning to cut the blooms off and care for the plant so it re-flowers

how can i care for it to ensure that it flowers again, how much of the stem shall i remove?

  1. Dead head to the next leaf axel,the new flower will grow from the  2 leaves you cut down to.If the rose needs re-shaping or is too big cut lower down but keep to a leaf axel.It will take a bit longer to come into flower


  2. I would only cut off the heads and don't over water it whilst it isn't flowering.

  3. just cut it off under the flowers,u can try rose fertilizer if the plant doesnt rebloom.these roses usually can be planted outdoors and will reflower year after yr.
