Ps3 Blu-ray Question?

if your tv doesnt go up to the highest resolution (1080p, 1080i dont know the differnece?) will bluray dvds still play well? my tv will go up to the second highest resoulution but not the highest

Yes! You will notice a HUGE difference between HD and standard-def. I also have a 1080i(not P) tv and the picture is fantastic.

Yes, your tv will adjust.  If you have a disc capable of 1080p and your tv can only perform at 720p, it will play in 720p.
