Ps3 Region Issues?

Question

I picked up mercenaries 2 from america and on my S****y SDTV it comes out in black and white and a bit fuzzy.

This is probably because its 60 Hz instead of 50.

I can playt but it looks like c**p.

Is there a way to fix this without buying a HDTV?

Bull Goose Loony is right. your tv most likely doesnt support NTSC signal, so you are going to have to get a converter

AFAIK, there is nothing you can do to resolve the issue, unfortunately.

Im afraid buying a HDTV is the only option.

That's probably because your TV doesn't support other region's signal. If don't have HDTV, get a converter.

Sorry dude but I don't think so - What type of PC monitor do you use? If its an LCD flat screen why don't you just buy an HDMI cable (Or maybe you wouldnt need one, I dont know which PS3 modles Europe has) & plug that into your PC screen, Thats what Im going to do.

To answer your question, if u bought it from America then you should probably either get an HDTV or a converter since the voltages that electricity uses differs in different countries. I thought you were moving to America? California. Are you still in UK? You would still need a converter if you wanna use it in UK. But if you co0me to play in US I believe you will be ok.
