Ps3 blu ray remote?

i am looking to buy the Ps3 blue ray remote, but is it gonna work with my TV like the Microsoft xbox 360 universal remote, because why do they have numbers on it. THANK YOU

The PS3 blu-ray remote only works with DVDs and blu-rays played on the PS3 as it uses bluetooth whereas all other remotes use infra-red.  So, it won't control your TV or any other electronic device.

The official PS3 blu ray remote only controls the PS3, it is not a universal remote, it's works by blue-tooth:)
