Ps3 dual shock 3 controller opening help?

i just got a dual shock 3 maybe a month ago and i want to clean it. i tried removing the screws to open it but when i try to open it the side with the analog sticks wont come up. i can get all sides open except the side with the analog sticks and i dont wanna break them. any help?

don't try doing that this happened to me yesterday but one of the buttons (R2 and R1) didn't let the controller close properly and i also removed the screws and everything but then when i would but them back together and fixed the buttons the remote did not close

SO I GOT MAD AND BROKE THE REMOTE AND I WENT TO TARGET 30MINS LATER AND BOUGHT A NEW ONE

don't disassemble things like that, the electric motors for the rumble could be dangerous.

I have repaired my DS2 controller many times, my cat chewed through the cord right near the actual controller, so I had to resolder the wires to the connection points inside. I must say that I have never opened up the PS3 controller. Perhaps where it has the motion sensitive components in there, it is different.

i wouldn't mess with things you dont understand i would just take it back where i got it from and say t doesn't work and then get a brand new one
