what is the ps3 failure rate in all

and the failure rate of the preoblem that it wont read disk nomore??

Please tell me

and how to prevent the disk error

that alot of people is getting.

i recently bought my ps3 like 7 days ago in radioshack with a 2 yr warranty replacement plan :D

My ps3 is in pretty good shape. I had to restart the modem every now and then but other then that its fine. Its different with people. It depends on how you take care of it.

EDIT: I have a 40gb too.

do a little gaming good answer if you have a 2 yr warranty then what are you worried about anyway Ive had mine and have had no problems none what so ever unlike my Hexbox thats broken

PS3 failure rates are "around 0.02 percent" according to a Sony executive.

i dont know the "wont read disk nomore" failure but think its close to the overall failure and u cant prevent it.

u really need to calm down ps3 failing RARELY happens. ur acting like u have an xbox 360

I've just confirmed the delivery date for my exchanged PS3.

It's supposedly 1 in 1000.
