Ps3 fresh out of box turns on but nothing after that?

I have tried it on 4 different tv's, using 2 different cables. The ps3 turns on(the main power switch) and then when i hit the power button it turns on (making the red light green). No images appear on the screen and a few seconds later the PS3 beeps and shuts off. The red light flashes. Is this a problem with the ps3? should i go exchange it?

yea return it, but for ppl who always say, oh that never happens to my x-box, give it a rest already, just cuz you think its better, dosnt mean it is, and it dosnt even help the person in his question so just shut up

Do you get a yellow light? If you do then it's defo broken, but if you're having problems yes take it back and get abnother one. Hope you kept the receipt!!

ohio just take it back to where ever you bought w/ your receipt and tell them that it doe not work make sure they give you another one that does work some times when they are ship to the store the people that are putting them and the truck are what ever drop them and they break :) ava
