Ps3 hd tv?

Question

if you have a ps3, and plug it in to an hdtv with an hdmi cable, will your ps3 be hd?games and blue ray, or just one of them?

if it is set for auto resolution it will play at the best resolution that your tv can handle.  this also however depends on the game or movie you are playing.  Most new ps3 game come in some form of high definition
