Ps3 nyko intercooler question?

i have a ps3 nyko intercooler but for some reason it dont want to snap into place with my ps3 i know a lot of people say there bad for the ps3 but i was wondering why it dont want to snap into place i have a 40gb ps3

Don't use it. It doesn't let the internal cooling system to work properly, that leads to overheating. Just make sure your PS3 is in horizontal position and it has a 10cm gap around it. Don't put it on carpet or any other fluffy surfaces.

first of all, do not even put that intercooler on your PS3!!!

do i have to tell you my story about what happened with my PS3 because of nyko intercooler? lets just say that i was lucky enough to get a replacement...

my friend has the 40gb and it does not get hot AT ALL, not even warm compared to my 60gb which gets pretty hot... so theres no point for an intercooler.

now do yourself a favor, DO NOT USE THE INTERCOOLER, if you recently bought it, BRING IT BACK!!!

what do you think you have a 360 r what the ps3 already has a built in fan that doesn't make sense why they would even make  that

i just wouldn't even try

You don't need it, especially with a 40GB ps3. The 40GB has a slightly different processor than older model's, it doesn't get as hot. That said, even older models don't need it, the ps3 is perfectly capable of cooling itself so just give up
