Ps3 online connection problem?

i have been playing online for about a month. but all of the sudden when ever i sign in for online it says check your network connection so i do. then i do the settings thing. and it says what is your ppoe id or something like that. then when i test for connection it says failed cant find addres id or something like that. does any one know how to fix this problem?

ok go to netwok settings under settings on your ps3 xmb then go to  setting and connection status list if it says its disconnected or something like that then go to internet connections then put easy and scan for a connection.  this should work.
