Ps3 orange light question?

whats the blinking orange light at the bottom of the ps3 for, just wondering

It tells you when the Ps3 is accessing wireless internet or the hard drive.

Simple as that.

The orange light indicates when the PS3 is accessing your hard drive ( Ex. when you load a saved file)

It tells you the PS3 is either accessing: The HDD or the WiFi.

If the flashing light is by the SD Card Ports [on a 60 gig or 80 gig] it means the PS3 is accessing them.
